What exactly is the myofascial system?
It is a 3-dimensional web like structure that surrounds all tissues, vessels, organs, capillaries, tendons, ligaments, bone, nerves etc. It holds 2000lb of tensile strength and is a communication highway!! "It is the very foundation of form and function in the body." When this system is holding skeletal structures in misalignment and compensation is occurring the fascial system can become shortened, significantly elongated, stiff and/or dehydrated which ultimately impacts performance.
MFR can help drastically improve your horse's function, movement patterns and quality of life!
How do I know if my horse needs MFR?
Likely it does! Whether you ride for pleasure on occasion or event and train frequently MFR has a place and holds benefits. Horses are very dynamic creatures that can easily develop tightness and restrictions. Don't wait for an injury, listen to your horse. Do you notice small changes in movement or power? What about comfort under saddle or holding specific patterns? Horses often respond well to MFR to help them maintain optimal performance levels and function.
